If the hammock will be moved to another set of trees or posts or taken on a camping trip tree straps are your best bet. However if the straps are left hanging on the tree for several seasons without being removed they can deter the growth of the bark of the tree. This kit includes: 2- Heavy Duty Weather-Resistant Straps 2- Metal rings 2- S"" hooks Tree straps are easy to use. First take one of the 10.5 foot long straps. Attach one of the metal rings to one end of the strap. The other end of the strap is looped back on itself to create a fabric loop. After wrapping the strap around the tree as many times as required until the whole strap is used put the end with the metal ring through the fabric loop so that the metal ring just hangs there. Then use an S clip to connect the metal ring on the strap with the metal ring on the hammock. Repeat this process for the other end of the hammock.
